We are grateful to the Almighty for providing us yet another opportunity to serve the humanity through N.S.S with the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU”. National Service Scheme of St. Vincents has earnestly rendered its service to the society. In 2013-2014 we have enrolled 60 student volunteers and 10 teachers incharge to guide the student under the relentless support and guidance of our beloved Principal Rev. Fr. Johny Koyikkara and Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Kamalraj Johny. We thank N.S.S Joint director and N.S.S District Laiyasion Officer Mr. K. John for their permission and support to our school N.S.S Unit.
A meeting was conducted on 20th June 2012 by the N.S.S volunteer and later to the incharge teachers to discuss and decide about the activities to the carried out for the academic year 2013-2014. “ Only a life lived in the service to others is worth living”. Remembering these words of Albert Einstein, N.S.S unit students play a vital role in serving the people and bringing them joy following the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU”

N.S.S volunteers actively take part in all celebrations like Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Republic Day, Sports Day and Annual Day. They help the teachers to maintain discipline among the students. We assure that we will positively try to implant the above N.S.S activities during the academic year 2013-2014.

With the motto “Not me but you”, The National Service Scheme of St Vincent's began its service on 26th June 2009 in the presence of Mr.Simon Aju Sudhakar, NCC Lieutenant in the Depart of social Works, Loyola College. Mr.Emmanuvel was elected as the NSS Programme Officer in the year 2011. The NSS of St. Vincent’s has earnestly rendered its exceptional service to the society during the academic year 2012-2013, with 65 student volunteers and 12 teachers in charge to guide under the relentless support and guidance of our beloved principal Rev.Fr.Johny Koyikkara. The formal inaugural function was held on 29-6-2012.The chief guest Mr. K. John, District Liaison Officer of NSS motivated the students to work hard and lead a successful life in carrying out service to the humanity. Many orientation classes were conducted. Mrs. S. Latha, Department of English gave a presentation on Communication Skill to our volunteers. On 07.09.2012 a rally followed by a human chain was organized to create awareness on Eye donation. Our NSS volunteers prepared placards and actively participated in the rally issuing pamphlets and holding placards.
NSS special camp was arranged for 7 days at St.Vincent's School, Molasur targeting Sogandi village, Kancheepuram district from 23-09-2012 to 29-09- 2012.The chief guest Mr. Perumal M.L.A. Sriperembudur, Rev. Fr. Francis Borgia, C.M., the Parish Priest, Molasur and other dignitaries Mr. Joseph, Panchayat Officer and Mr.Dominic, councilor inaugurated the camp. Mr. David, former Tamil teacher of SVS,
Mr. Tirupathi JE and Mr. Nazareth, Supervisor, Southern Railways, Mr.Manivanan Social Service SCARF, and Mr.Gunasekaran ,Govt. TB Educationist were special invitees who trained our volunteers on various topics like Leadership qualities, First Aid and HIV and Aids. A rally was also conducted on evil effects of Tobacco and TB awareness at Sogandi village. Our principal Rev. Fr. Johny Koyikkara's visit to the camp further encouraged the volunteers. Rev. Fr. Lourthusamy addressed on anti tobacco awareness. Our NSS volunteers planted nearly 100 saplings in and around the village in order to promote green revolution.
